The Daily Jolt is composed of college students at schools around the country working collectively to create college-specific versions of The Daily Jolt.
Originating at Amherst College, Project Jolt has expanded to over one hundred campuses nationwide. All of its members work together to innovate the design of the site as well as to localize the site for each college. Each college's Daily Jolt site is run by students at that school -- helping to ensure that the content is accurate and useful to students.
The Penn State Daily Jolt began on October 1, 1999. This site was developed for students at Penn State, by students at Penn State.
